I graduated from East Carolina University with a BA, majoring in painting. In the past I have taught art and have had a career in graphic design, but painting has always been my passion. 
I enjoy researching for a artwork composition and the experience of mixing the paint and trying to achieve the correct color and feel to my paintings. I research the current home deco color palette and feel in order to create a painting that someone can enjoy in their home. 
For myself it is the process of creating that gives me satisfaction to my work. Painting is an enjoyable escape that is self fulfilling and challenging.
